Microsoft continues to invest by quadrupling its cybersecurity investment to $20 billion over the next five years to provide its customers with solutions that integrate across the ecosystem by connecting all of your identities, endpoints, apps, emails, docs and clouds to help you close critical gaps in coverage, reduce risk, and save costs with a streamlined security portfolio Responsibilities We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Security Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) to drive customer transformation on the Azure and Microsoft 365 Platform. This is a customer-facing role, owning the overall technical relationship and strategy between the customer and Microsoft. You will own security, data security or identity customer engagements, including architecture, technical readiness, implementation, and optimization in production. Therefore, you will deliver pro-active support delivery services through the customer’s unified contract. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-facing roles driving cybersecurity initiatives and leading in-depth technical security discussions OR experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC). The ideal candidate will be comfortable having security discussions with customer decision makers such as CISOs, Enterprise Security Architects, Enterprise Architects, IT and Security Management, and Developers to drive Security as an enabler for cloud workloads in Azure and Microsoft 365. Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications Significant technical experience in Security, identity, or data security and understanding of architectures at enterprise-scale, security hands-on experience Good understanding of the overall Cybersecurity Market and the competitive landscape Understanding of the current Threat Landscape and current attack vectors (State of Cybersecurity) In-depth knowledge/ Subject Matter Expertise in one or more of the following solutions or competitive products: Entra ID (former Azure Active Directory) Defender for Identity Defender for Endpoint Defender for Office Defender for Cloud Defender for Apps Microsoft Purview Microsoft Sentinel Copilot for Security Customer focused mindset enjoying the work with customers (internal or external) as a trusted technical advisor aiming for realizing the value for the customer. English skills required, German skills are an advantage. Further Key Skills Relationship Building. Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with security decision makers. Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on security solutions/projects. Consultative and problem-solving skills. Ability to solve customer security, data security, or identity problems through cloud technologies Collaboration and Communication. Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences. Customer Focus. Customer obsessed leader with an “if I don’t know how to get it done, I’ll find someone who does” approach to solving customer challenges Value Realization. Ability to understand customer business objectives and outcomes and ability to quickly leverage tech solutions to accomplish those outcomes Trusted Technical Advisor.
