About the Role We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Cloud Solution Architect to join our Digital Engineering team. In this role, you will design and govern cloud-based solutions that power MOL Group's digital products and strategic initiatives across multiple countries. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, engineers, security experts, and enterprise architects to turn business needs into scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions. As a key architectural leader, you'll influence technology decisions, cloud strategy, architecture standards, and modernization initiatives while promoting cloud-native, security-by-design, and operational excellence practices. What you’ll do Design end-to-end cloud solutions supporting digital products and business initiatives. Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-efficient architectures. Drive cloud adoption, modernization, and architecture best practices across the Digital Factory. Define architecture standards, governance, and non-functional requirements including security, performance, resilience, and scalability. Design integration solutions using APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native services. Collaborate with Product Managers, Enterprise Architects, Security, DevOps, and Engineering teams. Provide architectural guidance, technical leadership, and mentoring. Support cloud governance, cybersecurity, compliance, and cost optimization initiatives. What You Bring Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is an advantage. Experience Proven experience designing and delivering cloud-based enterprise solutions, preferably within large-scale environments. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies. Experience defining solution architectures across application, integration, infrastructure, data, and security domains. Experience participating in architecture governance processes, review boards, and strategic technology initiatives. Professional Skills Strong knowledge of cloud architecture principles, distributed systems, and modern application architectures. Proven ability to design scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-efficient enterprise solutions. Strong understanding of cloud-native services, microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures. Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud operating models. Knowledge of compute, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, and platform services. Understanding of hybrid cloud and enterprise-scale cloud environments. Familiarity with integration platforms, middleware technologies, and enterprise ecosystems. Strong understanding of cloud security architecture and Security-by-Design principles. Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), authentication, authorization, encryption, and secrets management. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, privacy requirements, risk management, and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR. Experience collaborating with Security, Risk, and Compliance teams. Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automation principles. Familiarity with observability, monitoring, logging, disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational support models. Knowledge of cloud cost management and optimization practices. Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate) are highly valued. Additional cloud, architecture, or database certifications are considered an advantage. Soft Skills Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to bridge business and technology discussions effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring across cross-functional teams. Ability to balance business value, technical considerations, security, risk, cost, and operational requirements.
