REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience as a cloud architect or senior cloud engineer.
  • 5+ years of experience building solutions on Microsoft Azure using services such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, and Key Vault.
  • Strong experience designing microservices and distributed systems in healthcare or similarly regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with ANSI X12 (837, 835, 270/271, 276/277), HL7, and FHIR data formats.
  • Deep understanding of software security, encryption, identity management, and compliance requirements (HIPAA/HITECH).
  • Strong knowledge of API design, ETL pipelines, and integration with EMRs and clearinghouses.
  • Familiarity with current approaches to integrated AI into workflow

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:

  • Experience with modern data analytics platforms (e.g., Synapse, Power BI, or custom dashboards).
  • Experience embedding LLMs or OCR into real-world workflows.
  • Exposure to DevSecOps principles and tools like GitHub Actions, Defender for Cloud, and Application Insights.
  • Hands-on knowledge of building multi-tenant SaaS applications.
  • Familiarity with healthcare financial KPIs and provider workflows is a strong plus

Responsibilities
  • Architect the next-generation RCM platform using Azure-native services and modern application frameworks.
  • Select and validate the best technology stack for a secure, scalable, multi-tenant cloud application.
  • Design and implement microservices-based infrastructure to support modular deployment of RCM functions.
  • Ensure secure data handling in compliance with HIPAA and HITECH regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FHIR, HL7, and X12 standards across RCM processes.
  • Guide the use of GenAI for intelligent process automation, including claim validation, documentation, and denial prediction.
  • Establish DevOps pipelines and IaC (e.g., Bicep, Terraform) for scalable and repeatable deployments.
  • Drive decisions on APIs, messaging frameworks (e.g., TCP/EDI queues), observability, and governance.
  • Mentor engineering teams and review technical designs, ensuring alignment with long-term architectural goals.
