JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Cloud Specialist to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions. The role involves managing cloud services, ensuring security and compliance, optimizing performance, and supporting cloud-based applications.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

Strong foundation in IT, computer science, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with cloud computing, including service models, deployment strategies, security best practices, automation, and cloud migration.
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, along with experience in management and monitoring tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
Familiarity with databases and storage solutions, including MySQL, MongoDB, and S3.
Understanding of networking concepts, communication protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, REST), and cloud security frameworks.
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, CompTIA Cloud+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate Cloud.Additional certifications in VMware would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
Implement and maintain cloud security, compliance, and governance policies.
Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and cost optimization.
Automate cloud deployment and configuration using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
Support cloud migration projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and provide technical support to teams.
Optimize cloud resources for scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
Manage cloud networking, storage, and database services.
Collaborate with development and security teams to implement best practices.
Maintain documentation and stay updated on emerging cloud technologies.
