Description

Datadog is seeking a cross-functional leader to manage our most critical infrastructure relationships with cloud service providers (CSPs). This newly created role will drive our global cloud expansion strategy, lead high-stakes negotiations with CSPs, and serve as the connective tissue across Engineering, Legal, Finance, Sales, and Product. This role works directly with Datadog’s C-suite and carries visibility and impact at the highest levels of the company.
The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships with partners, devising negotiation strategy, digging into contract language, structuring high-stakes agreements, and leading cross-functional teams through execution. You’ll serve as Datadog’s point person for all cloud provider relationships, navigating ambiguity, surfacing critical issues, aligning stakeholders, and structuring agreements that ensure the long-term scalability of our platform. This role is central to shaping the future of Datadog’s global infrastructure and CSP relationships.
At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds, and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

Responsibilities
  • Own and grow Datadog’s global relationships with cloud service providers (e.g. AWS, GCP, and Azure), serving as the primary point of contact within Datadog
  • Proactively identify and lead new strategic initiatives within the CSP ecosystem, spanning co-sell, co-build, co-market, and technical collaboration opportunities with their respective Datadog executives.
  • Lead negotiation of large, multi-year cloud cost and infrastructure contracts; develop strategic negotiation playbooks and navigate cross-functional tradeoffs..
  • Drive geographic expansion strategy by developing market hypotheses, validating with external research, and collaborating with GTM teams on business case modeling.
  • Communicate regularly with executive leadership; provide clear, concise updates and recommendations at the most senior levels of the company.
