Role Description This part-time Cloud Support Engineer (Entry-Level) role at Better GIFT is a hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility for some work from home. The role involves providing first-line technical support for cloud-based services, responding to user inquiries, and resolving routine issues through ticketing systems, email, and chat. The Cloud Support Engineer will assist in monitoring system performance, identifying basic faults, and escalating complex incidents to senior team members as needed. Daily tasks include troubleshooting connectivity and access issues, supporting routine system administration activities, and following established procedures for incident, request, and change management. The role also includes documenting solutions, updating knowledge bases, and collaborating with team members to improve service reliability and customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting and technical support skills to diagnose and resolve cloud service issues.
  • Candidates should possess foundational system administration capabilities, including user account management and basic configuration tasks.
  • Candidates should possess networking skills to understand connectivity, routing, and common network-related problems.
  • Candidates should possess awareness of network security principles to follow secure practices and support security controls.
  • Relevant education in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (certificate, diploma, or degree) is beneficial.
