ABOUT CHRISTIE INNOMED

Since 1954, Christie Innomed has been developing, distributing, and supporting innovative solutions that enhance the performance of healthcare institutions across Canada. With over 250 specialists serving more than 1,500 hospitals and clinics, we are leaders in medical imaging and healthcare IT, shaping the future of healthcare through next-generation software and data-driven applications.

JOB SUMMARY

The Cloud System Administrator (HIT) is a key technical contributor responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and reliability of Christie Innomed’s client-facing cloud environments across Canada.
This position supports the company’s growing portfolio of hosted solutions, including NeuronSphere and other enterprise imaging applications, by proactively managing and monitoring cloud service delivery in line with strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Unlike traditional infrastructure-oriented roles, this position focuses on the client-facing operational layer of the cloud: application performance, configuration, updates, support availability, and overall uptime.
Reporting to the Escalations and Implementations Coordinator within the Customer Support team, the Cloud System Administrator works closely with the company’s IT department (which owns the underlying infrastructure) as well as with Level 2 Support, Development, and Implementation teams to ensure service continuity and a seamless end-user experience.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3–5 years of experience in cloud system administration or a similar technical support role.
  • Strong expertise with Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, and cloud-based application stacks.
  • Knowledge of virtualization tools (VMware, Hyper-V), private cloud infrastructures, and remote desktop environments.
  • Experience supporting PACS, RIS, or similar clinical applications is a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging standards (DICOM, HL7, IHE) is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency with monitoring tools and performance analytics platforms.
  • Excellent documentation skills and ability to clearly communicate technical information.
  • Bilingual in French and English (oral and written).

KEY SKILLS

  • Proactive and highly responsive to service issues.
  • Methodical problem-solver with attention to detail and service availability.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a dynamic, high-responsibility environment.
  • Client-oriented mindset focused on service quality and reliability.
  • Strong time and priority management skills, with the ability to manage multiple live environments.
