We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Systems Design & Development Engineer 7 to lead the strategic vision, engineering, and implementation of cloud-based solutions that align with complex client requirements. This senior-level position plays a critical role in designing, developing, and integrating innovative technologies across cloud systems, applications, and hardware/software interfaces.
As a Cloud Engineer 7, you will contribute to the overall cloud architecture and strategic direction, ensuring that developed solutions meet or exceed performance, security, and scalability expectations. You will be responsible for formulating and defining system scope and objectives, addressing complex challenges, and applying advanced engineering and research techniques to create and implement forward-thinking cloud solutions.
The ideal candidate will lead major phases of high-impact cloud projects, mentor junior staff, and interface with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business and technical goals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud systems engineering, design, and development.
• Proven expertise in cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong background in cloud architecture, including networking, security, identity and access management, and data storage solutions.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Hands-on experience in cloud-native application development and DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale cloud projects and lead cross-functional teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
• Experience in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), serverless computing, and API integration strategies.
