Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, we’re looking for a Cloud Systems Engineer to help us take our IT infrastructure to the next level. This is a newly created role where you’ll design, build and support our cloud and hybrid platforms, ensuring they’re secure, efficient and fit for the future. What you’ll be doing Designing and managing Azure cloud and hybrid environments Optimising performance, security and costs Configuring cloud networks, firewalls and secure API endpoints Supporting colleagues across DevOps, Data and Integration teams Troubleshooting issues and keeping systems reliable Exploring new technologies and contributing to continuous improvement What we’re looking for You’ll be a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with strong technical expertise and a collaborative mindset. You’ll also bring: Solid experience working with Azure cloud infrastructure Strong knowledge of cloud networking, hybrid environments and security Hands-on skills across Azure services (VNETs, Firewalls, Logic Apps, DNS, ExpressRoute, Data Factory, Storage Accounts, Automation Accounts) as well as Active Directory, Okta, Office 365, SQL and VMWare Azure certifications (e.g. Solutions Architect, Security Engineer) are highly regarded Great communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset Desirable experience includes exposure to other cloud providers (AWS, GCP) and large, multi-site organisations.
