Position Overview As a Cloud Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in the implementation and support of Base’s cloud-native media services. You will work within a high-performing team of engineers to build and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, IBM Cloud and GCP. Your focus will span from system provisioning and IaC to second and third-line technical support. You will collaborate closely with software developers, support teams, and external vendors to maintain a reliable, performant cloud architecture while continuously seeking ways to optimize and automate services. This is a hands-on technical role with clear pathways for professional development within a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. Experience * Minimum 3 years of experience in a Cloud or Media Engineering role * Strong experience with public cloud services (AWS, GCP, IBM Cloud), including compute, storage, networking, and logging tools * Proven expertise provisioning and managing Media Asset Managment solutions * Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools * Familiarity with Linux systems administration * AWS, IBM Cloud, or GCP certification desirable Soft Skills * Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a structured approach to problem-solving * Strong interpersonal communication and stakeholder engagement skills * Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scale-up environment * Committed to continuous learning and professional development * Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders Cloud Infrastructure Engineering: * Deploy and maintain virtualized environments and multi-cloud services using IaC tools like Terraform * Configure and manage cloud object storage, software-defined networks, and virtual machines (AWS, IBM Cloud, GCP) * Integrate and support media-centric SaaS platforms including MAM, transcoding, remote edit, and accelerated file transfer tools Support & Service Operations: * Provide 2nd and 3rd line engineering support in collaboration with internal teams and vendor partners * Analyze infrastructure and system logs, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement proactive monitoring strategies * Contribute to service documentation, including architecture diagrams and technical runbooks Collaboration & Innovation: * Assist software developers with CI/CD environments and application deployment * Act as a key technical stakeholder during onboarding of new services or customer solutions * Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and process improvement About Base Media Cloud Cloud Native Media Services | Reimagining workflows in the cloud  Base Media Cloud is on a mission to democratize cloud services for all businesses helping them to store, process and manage content at scale with integrated online media solutions.
