Description
We are seeking an experienced CloudOps Engineer to join our OPS team. This is a pivotal role responsible for leading the organization's strategic transformation from a traditional VM-based environment to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). The CloudOps Engineer will steer the technical direction, working alongside DevOps and CloudOps units to ensure consistent, automated, and secure deployment processes. This position requires a blend of deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, combined with leadership capabilities to mentor the team and drive architectural decisions. Responsibilities Lead Technical Transformation: Spearhead the migration strategy of customer environments from legacy VM platforms to the AKS platform, ensuring efficiency and minimal downtime. Infrastructure Architecture & Automation: Design and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS). Manage and author complex Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible as the organizational standard. Mentoring & Professional Leadership: Provide technical mentorship to OPS engineers, conduct infrastructure code reviews, and implement operational best practices. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Development and Project Delivery teams to ensure seamless application integration and deployments. Reliability & Availability: Ensure High Availability (HA) of systems, perform proactive monitoring, and handle high-level (Tier 3/4) troubleshooting of complex infrastructure issues. Requirements Experience: 4+ years of experience as a System Administrator Cloud Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in Azure (Mandatory) and experience with AWS. Kubernetes: Deep, hands-on mastery of Kubernetes concepts, cluster management (specifically AKS), and containerized application deployment. IaC & Automation: Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and management.
