About the jobKey Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain highly available and resilient cloud infrastructure, primarily in Microsoft Azure.Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.Implement automation solutions to reduce operational overhead and improve service reliability.Support and optimize Kubernetes-based container platforms, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).Participate in incident response activities, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.Monitor platform health, performance, and capacity, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.Manage operating system lifecycle activities, including patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.Collaborate with development, security, networking, and platform engineering teams to improve service delivery.Support cloud cost optimization and resource efficiency initiatives.Contribute to disaster recovery, business continuity, and resilience planning.Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and runbooks. Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.Experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Good understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, load balancing, and network security.Experience with containerized platforms and Kubernetes, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).Administration experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.Experience responding to production incidents and performing root cause analysis.Knowledge of patching, vulnerability remediation, and system lifecycle management.Experience optimizing infrastructure for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost in public cloud environments.Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar technologies. Experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.Experience with monitoring and observability platforms.Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.Experience with security and compliance frameworks. Preferred Experience

Experience working in regulated environments such as Financial Services, Payments, Banking, Healthcare, or other compliance-driven industries.Relevant Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, or security certifications. What Success Looks Like
