As a CloudOps Engineer, you’ll collaborate on cutting-edge projects that transform machine learning into an engaging adventure, working hands-on with the latest tech alongside experts from Romania & France. In terms of department details, the newcomer will be part of the Engineering Support Team, a transversal discipline which offers support to engineers from all the other local departments, in different projects. Another advantage that can be leveraged by the newcomer is the fact that he/she will have the opportunity to join an International DevOps Community with more than 400 engineers from all around the world. Required competencies/experience: You have an intermediate proficiency in French, B1 minimum Solid hands-on experience with Windows and Linux administration Experience with public cloud providers: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform Understanding of at least one programming language (Java, Python) Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and automation tools Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Familiarity with configuration management and IaC (Ansible, Terraform) Proficient in scripting (Shell, Bash, or PowerShell) Understanding of security protocols (including SSL) Experience with version control systems (SVN, Git) Languages: English (Mandatory C1) ; French (Mandatory B1) Would be a plus: Experience or familiarity with event-driven architectures or Java-based microservices Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture concepts in operational contexts Experience with artifact repositories (Archiva, Nexus, Artifactory) Experience with code quality and analysis tools (SonarQube) Familiarity with container platforms (OpenShift) Behavioral skills: Strong team player Ability to coach on DevOps tools / DevOps best practices Teamwork and knowledge sharing Be autonomous and proactive on your tasks Good communication skills Lead technological survey activities At Thales, we’re committed to fostering a workplace where respect, trust, collaboration, and passion drive everything we do.
