POSITION SUMMARY:

The objective for this role is to have primary responsibility for all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable and some general accounting responsibilities. A successful candidate for this position will be self-motivated to deliver quality work in day-to-day tasks. They should feel comfortable using available resources to find answers and solve problems and be able to apply critical thinking and reasoning to their work after general guidelines are given.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 - 3 years’ experience in A/P, A/R and general accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Minimum of an Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Stationary Work: Must be able to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods—often over 50% of the time.
• Mobility: Occasionally needs to move about the office or club premises to access files, meet with staff, or attend meetings.
• Manual Dexterity: Frequently operates a computer, calculator, phone and other office equipment such as printers and copiers.
• Visual Acuity: Must be able to read reports, spreadsheets, and computer screens with accuracy.
• Communication: Frequently communicates with staff, vendors, and management; must be able to exchange accurate information in these interactions.
