The Club Room , located at the Fort Garry Hotel, is home to Yuk Yuks Comedy Club and exciting new entertainment events every week! We are looking for those with part time & casual availability. Our new season launches mid - September.
The Club Attendant will take on the combined roles of Bartender, Server & F&B Steward.
Must be available evenings (weekdays, weekends and holidays)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to listen and communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
Punctuality and reliability are key factors in this role.
Have a positive attitude and the willingness to work as part of a team.
Able to multitask efficiently and take direction from others.
Strong organizational skills.
Experience as a F&B Steward and Bartender is an asset.
Excellent verbal & written English language skills; additional language(s) are an asset.
MUST legally be able to work in Canada and living in Winnipeg or surrounding area at time of application.
MUST have SMART CHOICES - Province of MB Responsible Beverage Service Certification.

Presenting the menu and helping customers select food or drinks.
Upselling food & beverage items.
Mix and serve drinks.
Delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely manner.
Process cash, debit & credit card transactions following standard operating procedures.
Ensure bar is stocked; Ensure stock is fresh, including garnishes.
Cleaning and picking up plates and glasses.
Getting tables ready for next show.
Restocking glasses and other supplies.
Carry out all tasks with attention to detail, cleanliness and safety.
Commitment to Fort Garry Hotel Standards and Code of Conduct.
Other duties as assigned.
