JOB DESCRIPTION

The Club Bell Bartender is responsible for providing an outstanding guest experience to our VIP Members. This role requires a skilled and experienced Bartender to prepare high end cocktails while delivering prompt and attentive service. The Bartender will be friendly, professional, approachable and will have extensive wine knowledge. Responsible for processing transactions, maintaining inventory standards and upholding established alcohol service policies.
Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 2-3+ years in an upscale, fast-paced, high-energy environment Excellent cocktail knowledge, bartending principles and current trends.
Extensive wine knowledge and ability to suggest wine selections and pairings to guests
Displays phenomenal hospitality, friendliness, and comprehensive beverage knowledge
Excellent communication and multitasking skills
Able to work under pressure with a calm and professional demeanor
Demonstrates organizational & multi-tasking skills, accuracy and attention to detail Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 20-40lbs Enjoys working in a fast-paced, lively work environment Ideal candidate will be available to work all Ottawa Senators NHL games, Ottawa Black Bears Lacrosse games and other events as required, including premium Catering events throughout the season
Valid Smart Serve Certification required
WSET Certification is an asset
Mixology Training is an asset
Bilingualism is an asse

Greets high end guests in a fast-paced environment
Prepares premium cocktails with speed and precision
Processes credit card and GIVEX transactions efficiently Adheres to all alcohol service policies from Aramark and Smart Serve guidelines Maintains cleanliness and organization of bar area at all times Responsible for event day inventory counts and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels Provides excellent guest service, anticipating guests’ needs and ensuring guest satisfaction Maintains a positive, professional and friendly demeanor towards guests and co-workers Ensures security of company assets
