POST-SECONDARY SUMMER STUDENT HR-SS-2026-16 Job Title: Club Crew Attendant Date Posted: Friday, February 6, 2026 Department: Community Services Closing Date: 4pm, Friday, February 20, 2026 Location: Golf Course Reports To: Manager of Recreation Hourly Wage: $20.00 per hour with benefits as per the Employment Standards Act. Job Summary: This position will assist the Club Superintendent in operating the golf shop by greeting customers, processing sales transactions, managing the rental of golf carts, booking tee times and driving range times, washing golf balls from the driving range, operating the beverage cart, serving alcohol and perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties in golf shop, locker rooms and restrooms ensuring all areas are tidy and stocked with necessary supplies. This position will work 30-40 hours per week, schedule will include days, evenings and weekends. Anticipated employment period from May to August 2026. Position Requirements: High School diploma Must be able to open (as early as 6:00am) and close (as late as 10:00pm) the club house. Previous customer service an asset. Experience with cash handling and point of sale systems. Excellent computer skills. Excellent communication, teamwork, planning and organizing skills. Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Smart Serve certificate or the ability to obtain one. Have a valid class “G” driver’s license. The successful applicant will be required to obtain and submit a clean criminal background check at their own expense prior to start date. This position is open to students who are presently attending school on a full-time basis and returning to a recognized post-secondary institution (full-time) in September 2026.
