Job Description As our Club Millesime Butler (Bartender) at Club Millesime, you will play an essential role in being available to personally assist guests and respond promptly to their requirements in line with Sofitel Luxury service expectations, ensuring personalised, efficient, luxury service is provided to all guests, as well as embracing the service culture of Butler service. Other duties include, but not limited to: Craft and serve premium cocktails, wine, and beverages with precision, creativity, and flair. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the bar menu, including classic and signature cocktails, wines, and spirits. Upsell and recommend beverages, demonstrating a refined understanding of guest preferences and pairing suggestions. Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar in line with hygiene and safety regulations. Process guest orders and payments accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to ensure seamless service delivery. Support bar setup and pack-down, including restocking and inventory management. Follow and implement all departmental procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and checklists. Demonstrate the “Passion for Excellence” through serving our guests with flair and professionalism, ensuring that their requests are quickly and efficiently achieved. Ensure all guests are provided with personalised service and that the “Essence of Pleasure” is achieved. Embody the art of French hospitality through a “can do” attitude. Represent the hotel brand with pride, professionalism, and attention to detail at all times. Qualifications Previous experience as a Bartender in a luxury hotel, high-end bar, or fine dining environment. Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, and premium spirits. Exceptional guest service and communication skills, with a warm and engaging personality. Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification. Impeccable personal presentation and a passion for luxury hospitality. A team player who takes initiative and maintains professionalism under pressure. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as part of a rotating roster.
