Title: Club Operations Coordinator
Location: Hudson River Tennis Club - 300 Vesey Street
Reports to: General Manager
Rate: Full time, hourly
We are seeking a full time outgoing, hospitality-focused Tennis Coordinator / Club Operations Coordinator to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of Hudson River Tennis Club. The ideal candidate is a tennis enthusiast with excellent organizational abilities who thrives in a hospitality-oriented setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet members and guests, providing exceptional customer service
  • Manage court reservations, scheduling, and member inquiries
  • Process payments, memberships, and other transactions
  • Ensure courts are properly maintained and prepared for play
  • Monitor facility cleanliness, including light cleaning of front desk, lounge, and courts
  • Enforce club policies and ensure a positive environment for all members
  • Handle minor maintenance tasks or report larger issues to management
  • Track inventory of supplies and notify management when orders are needed
  • Open or close the facility, ensuring all security protocols are followed

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of tennis is preferred
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable with basic technology (booking software, phone, email)
  • Prior experience in a club, gym, or hospitality setting is preferred
  • Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for long extended periods of time.
  • Must be comfortable with repetitive motions (such as walking, bending & standing).
  • Must have full schedule availability.
