  • Previous barback, bar, or hospitality experience preferred but not required (training provided).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining quality.
  • Flexibility to work late nights / weekends and key events such as: New Years, Halloween, Pride and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Stock and replenish bar supplies, including alcohol, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and bar equipment.
  • Organise and rotate stock to minimize waste and breakage.
  • Collect empty glasses, bottles, and trash from bar and washing glassware.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Support bartenders and management with any additional tasks as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with recipes and venue standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Check customer identification to verify legal drinking age.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including tools, glassware, and surfaces.
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately, balancing register and tips at the end of shift.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
  • Assist with bar setup and breakdown before and after service.
  • Work collaboratively with barbacks, servers, security, and management to ensure smooth operations.
