The University of Denver is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Club Women’s Lacrosse Coach to lead our Club Women’s Lacrosse team for the 2025-2026 season. This position requires an experienced coach with a strong background in lacrosse and experience coaching at a high level. The ideal candidate will foster a supportive, disciplined, and motivating environment to help student-athletes reach their full potential.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Has a passion for working with athletes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster team spirit, motivate athletes and conflict resolution skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on the team’s training and competition schedule.
  • Knows how to balance fun with competitiveness and wants the players to enjoy their experience on the team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (able to be acquired within first 30 days of employment)
  • CDC Heads Up Concussion Training Certification (able to be acquired within first 30 days of employment)
Responsibilities
  • Assist the head coach in planning and running two weekly practices (2 hours each)
  • Attend and support team at weekend games and tournaments (travel required)
  • Provide constructive, individualized, and team-wide feedback to enhance performance
  • Help with game-day preparation and sideline management
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and competitive team culture
