JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for an energetic Clubhouse Associate with excellent communication skills. Clubhouse Associates are responsible for scheduling on our golf simulators, and guiding customers in their experience end-to-end. In addition, our Clubhouse Associates are tasked with the responsible service of food and beverages (including alcoholic and non-alcoholic products). The Clubhouse Associate will enthusiastically welcome customers, set them up on and provide a thorough tutorial of our indoor simulators, answer questions, recommend menu/drink items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. You will also be required to handle basic cleaning duties.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma
  • WHIMIS, Smart Serve, OHS in Four Steps, First Aid would be considered an asset.
  • Smart Serve Certificate is Mandatory

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Knowledge and understanding of golf are considered a major asset
  • Full Training on Golf Simulators will be provided
  • Age of Majority required
  • Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays on a flexible rotating basis
  • Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance.
  • Basic math and technology skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team
  • Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques
Responsibilities
  • Drive a superior indoor golf experience by communicating and understanding each customers skill level and personal preferences.
  • Provide appropriate course recommendations to ensure the optimal experience.
  • Enthusiastically welcome customers, listen to beverage preference, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
  • Making recommendations for daily drink specials.
  • Checking/restocking inventory and supplies to ensure bar is well-stocked.
  • Ensuring you are always in adherence with all food safety and health regulations.
  • Completing cash out transactions, ensuring accuracy, as well as balancing cash at the end of your shift.
  • Maintaining a clean work and dining area by cleaning tables, washing glasses, and dishes, etc.
