Description
Overview Oversees the clubhouse facility during the hours set by the Board of Directors and provides excellent customer service to residents. The Club Attendant also provides exemplary service in a manner consistent with the values and mission of the Castle Group. He or she performs all responsibilities while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills representative of Castle Royal Service as it relates to this function. This includes working interdepartmentally, as well as, with our external customers. Responsibilities Perform walk throughs of clubhouse, fitness center, pools, and sports courts periodically, with emphasis on peak hours. Ensure all rooms, tables and furniture are organized and ready for resident use Monitor for mainteananance issues impacting resident use and coordinate with facilities team for addressing Assist with setup and breakdown of event rooms and spaces Support the Lifestyle team for large events Inspect rooms and event spaces after use to ensure compliance with use policy. Update activities calendar at the direction of the Lifestyle Manager or Community Association Manager. Conduct hourly rounds of the clubhouse and pool deck to monitor usage, cleanliness and any other items that should be reported to either the Facilities team or Community Association Manager Ensures all safety precautions and procedures are followed while performing amenities inspections Cleans club house and collaborates with site janitorial team for additional cleaning as needed Follows-up on all complaints/issues notifying Community Association Manager as necessary May assist with resident notifications or special projects as assigned Interfaces with residents to ensure rules are observed Requirement to attend scheduled activities/events as needed May be assigned other duties and responsibilities by the on-site Community Association Manager or Clubhouse Manager. Qualifications Education/Training/Certifications/Licenses: Entry level position High school diploma or equivalent. Experience/Knowledge/Skills: One (1) to two (2) years of front desk or club house attendant experience preferred. Strong customer service skills required. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to navigate rules and regulations. Comfortable enforcing rules and regulations. Computer literacy: Intermediate command of computer hardware/software is required. Language requirements: English is required. Multiple language fluency is desirable. Travel and availability requirements: May be required to travel for training sessions off-site on an ad-hoc basis. May be occasionally required to cover for front desk staff when needed. Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on scheduling needs. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time. Handle, grasp and lift objects and packages. Reach with hands and arms. Communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word. Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions. Complete all required forms.
