Description Job Summary: The Clubhouse Landscape & Garden Care Technician is responsible for the ongoing care, appearance, and seasonal enhancement of the Clubhouse exterior landscape. This role focuses specifically on flowers, garden beds, and overall aesthetic presentation to ensure the Clubhouse and Pro Shop grounds are consistently well-maintained, welcoming, and reflective of the Club’s standards throughout the seasonal operating period. This position plays a key role in the day-to-day “gardening” and beautification efforts, with an emphasis on detail, consistency, and pride of appearance. Requirements Primary Responsibilities: • Perform continuous seasonal gardening and landscape upkeep around the Clubhouse and Pro Shop • General weeding, grooming, and maintenance of all flower beds • Deadheading and care of perennial and annual plantings to promote healthy growth and extended bloom cycles • Seasonal planting and replacement of annual flowers in designated garden beds, including: o Flagpole bed o Beds adjacent to the practice green o Parking lot beds o Roadside bed along the main road o Containers located in front of the Clubhouse • Fertilization of all annual plantings according to seasonal needs • Selective pruning of trees and shrubs to remove dead limbs, errant growth, or visually distracting branches • Maintenance and trimming of privet hedges • Sweeping and light cleaning of walks, drives, patios, and hardscape areas surrounding the Clubhouse and Pro Shop • Monitor overall landscape appearance and proactively address issues impacting curb appeal • Work collaboratively with grounds or facilities teams as needed to maintain a cohesive exterior presentation Qualifications: • Experience with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance • Knowledge of seasonal flowers, perennials, annuals, and basic plant care practices • Attention to detail and a strong sense of visual presentation • Ability to work independently and manage routine responsibilities throughout the season • Comfortable performing physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions • Pride in craftsmanship and commitment to maintaining high aesthetic standards Schedule & Availability Requirements • Seasonal position requiring availability from April through November • Minimum availability of 20 hours per week, potential for additional hours based on Club needs and seasonal demands • Ability to work flexible hours as required to support planting schedules, peak growing periods, and special events
