Description Nestled at the base of Grandfather Mountain in Linville, North Carolina, Grandfather Golf & Country Club is a seasonal club offering various employment opportunities. At a soaring 4,280 feet above sea level with average summer temperatures of 75 degrees, Grandfather delivers a fun, upbeat, and busy work atmosphere. We are in search of a seasonal receptionist to work in our Clubhouse who has excellent interpersonal skills and is warm and friendly in demeanor. Primary responsibilities of this position include answering phones on a busy switchboard, greeting members and guests as they arrive at the club, transferring calls, answering club event-related questions, making dining and event reservations, placing To-Go orders, updating and printing menus, creating labels for buffets, and updating the website with current menus. This role is a seasonal position that begins in early May and ends October 31st. Hours average 35 per week, and the shifts are primarily from 3:00 pm to 8:15 pm with some flexibility required for day shifts as needed; weekends and holidays are required.
