Programme Details Duration: 9 weeks Cohort Size: 5 interns Study Requirement: Penultimate‑year STEM student graduating Summer 2027 Format: In‑person, team‑based, academy‑style learning Start Date: July 2026 Programme Overview The LSEG Software Engineering Java Academy Internship offers hands‑on exposure to the cutting‑edge platforms, systems, and engineering practices that power today’s — and tomorrow’s — global financial markets. Over 9 weeks (July–September), you will: work in a collaborative, high‑performance environment develop strong foundational software engineering skills gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle: requirements → design → coding → testing → deployment participate as one unified cohort on interconnected engineering projects receive guidance from multiple mentors from across LSEG engineering teams grow through structured learning sessions, engineering best practices and hands‑on coding The academy is built to accelerate your engineering fundamentals and set you up for success in complex, real‑world environments.
