Job Description Based in Rome, the Director of Leisure Sales is responsible for driving the leisure segment performance across a prestigious luxury hospitality portfolio comprising two five-star hotels in Rome and in Venice and an exclusive luxury train La Dolce Vita Orient Express. The role focuses on strategic segment development, USA and LATAM market management and development, revenue growth, and brand positioning within the global leisure travel sector, ensuring alignment with five-star standards and overall commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities Leisure Segment Strategy & Performance Define and execute the leisure sales strategy for the two luxury hotels and the luxury train Drive leisure segment revenue, market share, and profitability across all three assets Set, manage, and achieve leisure sales targets in line with cluster and commercial objectives Market Development & Key Accounts Manage and grow relationships with luxury consortia agency owners, advisors, tour operators, wholesalers Identify new leisure markets and business opportunities for all assets Represent the portfolio at international trade fairs, roadshows, and sales missions Organize and participate in different familiarization trips Commercial Collaboration Work closely with Revenue Management and commercial director to optimize pricing, availability, and packaging strategies Partner with Marketing to develop leisure-focused campaigns, storytelling, and experiential B2B offers Align with Operations to ensure delivery of promised guest experiences Luxury Train & Experiential Sales Position the luxury train as a flagship experiential product within the leisure portfolio Develop multi-destination and hotel–train itineraries to maximize cross-selling opportunities Support seasonal launches and bespoke leisure experiences Performance Monitoring & Reporting Together with commercial team analyze booking trends, market data, and competitor performance Track KPIs, forecasts, and pace to ensure leisure segment objectives are met Participate at weekly/monthly commercial meetings and present leisure segment performance updates to commercial director Leadership & Brand Representation Provide guidance and direction to the cluster leisure sales manager currently in the team Ensure consistent luxury brand standards across Rome, Venice, and train products Act as a senior ambassador for the portfolio within the luxury travel community Qualifications Minimum 8 years of experience in leisure sales within luxury hospitality A very solid knowledge and a strong network within luxury consortia market, especially in USA and LATAM geographic areas Proven track record in multi-property or cluster sales roles Deep understanding of luxury leisure distribution Experience with luxury hotels and experiential travel products Strong international leisure sales network Additional Information Medical Insurance, integrating Collective Labor Agreement one and extended to the family Ticket Restaurant Annual leave ALL - Heartist® Program: Employee benefit card offering discounted rates at all ACCOR locations and partner venues worldwide.
