The Cluster Reservations Team is responsible for 6 Hilton properties in the Netherlands; DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station, DoubleTree by Hilton Royal Parc Soestduinen, Hilton Amsterdam, Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Hilton Rotterdam, and Hilton The Hague.With our Team Members we have one goal to achieve: exceed our guest expectations and improve our outstanding service and high-quality product on a daily basis. What will I be doing?

As Reservations Agent you will be responsible to deliver highest level of quality to our guests. Within this internship you will support the team with the following tasks:

• In contact with guests to accept and confirm individual guest reservations by e-mail or telephone
• Responsible for the accurate processing of reservations
• Updating reservations via various booking systems
• Excellent knowledge and correct use of the various hotel rates
• Correct handling of reservations documents
• Adhere to the company credit policies and procedures
• Ensure quality checks on existing reservations
• Maximize room sales and revenue for the hotel, prioritizing up-selling with a sales attitude.
• Keep guests’ information updated to maintain high level of guest service standards
• Ensuring the satisfaction and loyalty of our guests and bookers by providing optimal service conform the established standards.

What are we looking for?

We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Cluster Reservations Agent. This role will focus on the following skills and competences:

• Hospitable & commercial attitude
• Good organizational and administration skills
• Commitment to delivering a high level of service
• Knowledge of hotel property management systems
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Results driven
• Preferably of one year relevant experience in a similar position
