Security Policy and Protocol Development: Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures tailored to the needs of multiple data centre buildings. Ensure policies comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Security Operations Management: Oversee daily security operations across all buildings in the cluster. Coordinate and manage security staff, ensuring proper training and compliance with security protocols. Monitor and maintain access control systems, CCTV, and alarm systems. Risk Management and Incident Response: Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities. Develop and implement incident response plans. Lead the response to security breaches and incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Access Control and Monitoring: Manage access control systems to ensure authorized personnel have appropriate access to data centre areas. Monitor building access and egress points to prevent unauthorized entry. Vendor and Contractor Management: Liaise with external security vendors and contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with third-party security providers. Security Training and Awareness: Develop and implement security training programs for all staff within the data centre cluster. Promote a culture of security awareness and vigilance among employees and contractors. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Prepare and present regular security reports to senior management. Maintain detailed records of security incidents and actions taken. Budget Management: Develop and manage the security budget for the data centre cluster. Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective management of security resources. Technology and Systems Management: Stay current with emerging security technologies and trends. Recommend and implement new security technologies and systems to enhance the security posture of the data centre cluster. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Information Security, or a related field. Professional certification such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or similar is preferred. Proven experience in security management, preferably in a data centre or similar high-security environment. Strong knowledge of security protocols, systems, and best practices. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
