Responsibilities Provide outstanding patient care and neurological-focused assessments Triage patient concerns and help guide urgent situations Assist with clinic procedures (wound care, suture/staple removal, dressing changes) Support pre- and post-operative education to empower patients and families Coordinate imaging, referrals, surgical prep, and follow-up care Maintain accurate documentation and support smooth clinic flow Qualifications Education: Associates Degree in Nursing (RN's must obtain BSN within 12 years of hire) Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program Certifiation/Licensure Active RN or LPN license issued by the Iowa Board of Nursing CMA certification preferred Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within three (3) months from date of hire Experience: Clinical experience preferred; neurosurgery or neuro background is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
Provide outstanding patient care and neurological-focused assessments while assisting with clinic procedures. Support pre- and post-operative education and coordinate necessary care for patients.
