Description At Southeastern Gastroenterology Associates the Clinical Nurse role is responsible for providing high-level clinical support and patient assessment within a fast-paced gastroenterology practice. This role serves as a primary point of contact for patient care, focusing on efficient triage and comprehensive care planning. Daily Responsibilities: Conduct initial patient triaging & collect clinical data and information to help providers with assessments and care planning. Deliver nursing care according to the patient care plan and office policies. Review past documents and hospital/clinical records for patient history. Complete patient assistance paperwork and prior authorizations for medications and complete medication refill requests. Manage patient and provider needs through documented telephone encounters. Requirements Required Qualifications Current MA certification or LPN license. Current BLS certification Proficiency in EMR systems, Excel, and web-based clinical portals.
