Description

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant (MA), Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
  • Proficient in obtaining patient vitals and histories.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage clinic workflows effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
  • Ability to assist with medical procedures and patient referrals.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Experience in a gastroenterology clinic or similar medical setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in medical assisting is desirable.
  • Certification (CMA or RMA) is preferred but not required with the requisite experience.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
  • Availability to work Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Must be able to float to the Durham office on Thursday’s
