Description
Assist with interviewing, hiring and training new employees Assist with employee management, i.e. schedules, performance evaluations, mtgs., protocols, etc. Review patient charts 48 hrs prior to appt to assure all records required by provider are in electronic record Obtain vitals, review medication list and enter all appropriate information in EMR Proof RX refills, E-scribe medications, call pharmacy and patient with any issues or concerns Perform EKG as directly by physician Call patients with test results per request from provider Assign CMA for Nuclear coverage when needed Assist physician with patients in satellite offices Sort echocardiograms and holters for MDs to interpret Maintain and track RHCI EKG log Promote a positive atmosphere Delegate duties as needed to ensure CMA operates in a friendly atmosphere Performs other work-related duties and activities as assigned or requested Ability to read, write and communicate in English Medical Assistant - Certification Completion of a post-secondary medical assisting program Basic Life Support Certification for Health Care Providers Strong interpersonal, customer service, time management skills Experience with current office technology, proficient with computer office applications (Electronic Medical/Health Records, MS Office, etc.) A Minimum of 5 year’s experience supervising staff in a medical office setting, prefer cardiology
Responsibilities
This role involves assisting with employee management, including interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations for Medical Assistants.
