We’re looking for a beauty-passionate CMI/OTM Intern to join the Canadian team. This role offers meaningful “hands on” work experience in a highly dynamic environment. CMI and Trade Marketing are strategic pillars of the organization that act as a 2-way stream of information: flowing the brand information to Sales teams and flowing the customer and local information to Marketing teams.
This role reports to the Team Lead of Consumer Beauty Trade Marketing & CMI and works directly with multiple teams within the organization such as: Sales, Marketing, Category Management, Finance and Supply Chain.

SKILLS:

Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint. Knowledge of PowerBI a strong asset.
Detailed oriented and manages complexity.
Ability to gather and analyze data, and develop fact-based recommendations that are a result of the analysis.
Strong time management & prioritization skills.
Ability to thrive in high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
Ability to think outside of the box and be confident to bring new ideas to table.
Keen eye and creative ability.
Knowledge of changing beauty landscape and industry

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree (Business, Statistics, Marketing, Economics, Sales)
1-3 year’s experience in CPG
Passion for beauty industry
Solid financial and business acumen required
Proficiency with PC applications MS Excel & PowerPoint

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

In this role you will be exposed to wide range of sales and marketing activities and cross- functional teams. You will primarily be responsible for:

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Running Neilsen and Circana Monthly Reports
Helping with Retail and distribution plans by channel and by customer
Analysis of internal POS data and Circana & Nielsen data to evaluate performance
Nielsen database management
Monitoring and analysis of competitive trade activities & pricing
Day-to-day coordination to support seamless execution of strategies
Helping with monthly PowerPoint Presentations on category trends
Assisting with development, management and execution of display strategies
