Job Description Project - the aim you'll have We are seeking a skilled Cloud Support Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure and a solid focus on incident response, automation, and continuous improvement. In this role, you will contribute to operational excellence by helping to enhance our cloud support maturity, drive standardization, and implement best practices across our environments Position – how you’ll contribute Incident Management: Lead and coordinate incident response activities, including triage, impact analysis, and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure timely resolution. Root Cause Analysis: Prepare clear, detailed RCA reports following service restoration and ensure follow-up actions are completed. Process Optimization & Automation: Design and improve testing approaches, streamline processes, create reporting mechanisms, and automate repetitive tasks. Documentation: Create, update, and maintain runbooks, SOPs, architecture notes, and knowledge base articles to support operational consistency. Cloud Resource Management: Provision, configure, and maintain Azure resources across multiple environments using IaC tools such as Bicep. Monitoring & Reliability: Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions; ensure Azure infrastructure meets performance, availability, and reliability requirements. Operational Support: Support deployments, patching, DR procedures, and continuous improvement of the Azure platform. Qualifications Expectations – the experience you need 5+ years of experience in cloud operations, Azure support, infrastructure delivery, SRE, or related roles, with demonstrated achievements in operational excellence and process improvement. Technical Skills: Extensive hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including compute, storage, networking, identity, governance, and security services. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform. Solid understanding of networking concepts and cloud-native architectures. Soft Skills Strong communication capabilities, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
