Description

We are looking for CMM Programmer and QC Coordinator to perform in-process and final inspections, operate CMM, and maintain calibration logs for our shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in the use of CMM equipment and knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Familiarity with measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CMM equipment to perform inspections on various parts and components.
  • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure products meet established quality standards.
  • Perform final inspections to ensure products are ready for shipment to customers.
  • Maintain calibration log and perform in-house calibrations on measuring equipment.
  • Identify and report any quality issues or deviations to appropriate personnel.
  • Follow established standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize quality and efficiency.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Propose solutions for quality and manufacturing challenges.
  • Confirm the resolution of nonconforming items and ensure they are not processed further until issues are corrected.
  • Ensure all staff are knowledgeable about inspection procedures and qualified to perform them.
  • Prepare inspection records proactively to facilitate timely and efficient processing.
  • Make sure all inspections and tests are conducted according to established procedures of ISO standards.
  • Gather, review, and maintain all quality records and data to ensure accuracy.
  • Keep inspection and testing equipment in proper working order, ensuring it is accurately calibrated.
