Join our team as our newest CMM Programmer/Operator! This position is on our Day Shift.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Performs dimensional evaluations using fixtures , hand instruments/ gages and CMM;
• Writes programs and operates CMM using Zeiss, COSMOS and Mitutoyo CMM equipment
• Verifies parts and fixtures for PPAP;
• Calibrates fixtures
• Completes annual dimensional layouts on parts;
• Ensures part layouts and inspection fixture certifications are completed as scheduled;
• Ensures accuracy of part and fixture layouts and reports by verifying proper nominal locations and tolerances;
• Ensures accuracy of part and fixture layouts by utilizing proper layout techniques;
• Identifies and maintains traceability of samples before and after testing;
• Ensures measuring devices are calibrated, identified and located per gage tracking database;
• Conducts capability studies of components and assemblies – including GD&T experience;
• Conducts GR&R studies of inspection fixtures and hand held measuring devices;
• Provides technical support for quality issues, prototype parts and fixture designs;
• Conventional measuring, using a range of hand equipment
• Preparing inspection reports for internal and external use
• Reporting results to relevant departments
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
