Using both CMM technology and manual inspection tools, you’ll help ensure the quality and reliability required to put people safely in the air. This position is for 1st Shift, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday and Saturday and/or Sunday, when required Job Summary * CMM Inspection - Support the Quality and Manufacturing departments with 1st Piece Inspection, * In-Process Inspection and Final Inspection of finished parts. * Use of manual handheld inspection tools such as micrometers, gages and other inspection equipment while CMM is running longer cycles times. * Set-up next job(s) in line while CMM is checking parts. * Perform layout inspections, first piece approvals, in-process inspections, and other aspects of inspection through-out the manufacturing process. * Other quality related duties as assigned. Requirements: * High School Diploma or GED required. * Associate's Degree, specialized training or certifications in Quality or Engineering strongly preferred. * Minimum three (3) years performing CMM Programming work, with Open DMIS or PC-DMIS, preferably in an aerospace manufacturing operation. * Demonstrated understanding of GD&T required * Experience in a job shop highly preferred * Must be knowledgeable of inspection tools OTHER: * Immigration Sponsorship, now or in the future, is not available for this position. * Relocation is not available for this position. * Remote or Hybrid work schedule is not available for this position. * This position can require overtime hours and weekend work, on Saturday and/or Sunday.
