JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Dimensional Lay out measurement for PPAP
  • Gauge and Fixture calibration and Control
  • Act as Quality Inspector backup
  • In charge of check fixtures repairs and verification of the repairs by vendors
  • Support Tool Room for all required CMM measurements
  • Issue work order as required
  • Ensure all 1st off’s meeting drawing specifications
  • Conduct product In Process Inspection
  • Conduct Process Audit
  • Verify last off
  • Follow IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 policies and objectives
  • Quality of workmanship
  • Recommend or provide solutions to problems
  • Miscellaneous duties as required
    Act as Quality Assurance Inspector Backup

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to work with measuring devices including CMM
  • Basic understanding of metal stamping process
  • Ability to program CMM for automatic measurement
  • Communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T
  • Strong knowledge of calibration and MSA
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949
  • Microsoft Office, PC-DMIS, COSMOS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum grade 12 with 6 years of experience or college certificate with 2 years of experience
  • Minimum 2 yrs. Experience with C.M.M measurement and programming
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
    Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
