Description
Establish and optimize CMP process conditions and technologies to improve product quality, yield, and cost efficiency. Set up and oversee process parameters across a variety of semiconductor equipment. Trouble-shoot wafer fabrication issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with other process areas to control deviations. Conduct abnormal analysis and drive corrective actions to improve process stability and reliability. Evaluate, promote, and plan for new equipment and materials to support process improvements. Enhance yield through recipe optimization, tool performance, and process control. Conduct research to assess process adjustments and recommend improvements or equipment changes for new product types. Lead and contribute to long-term defect investigations, working closely with shift engineering and multi-functional teams. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience as a CMP Process Engineer in semiconductor manufacturing. Experience with SPC, FMEA, and structured problem-solving methodologies. 5+ years of experience in CMP process development and optimization. Experience with AMAT, Ebara (LK Prime, 300GX) Proven engineering and problem-solving mindset
