BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a bilingual Inside Sales-Customer Service Representative for our Quebec location. The successful candidate will possess the skills to provide exceptional customer service.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide exceptional Customer Service to our group of Industrial Distributors.
  • Interact, respond and follow up with customers on a daily basis, responding to all inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Sell a diversified line of products via phone, fax, and email.
  • Processing customer orders through the computer system, ensuring accuracy and prompt delivery.
  • Takes ownership with difficult customer service issues while resolving in a timely manner.
  • Support our distribution partners with service, pricing, delivery, and inventory inquiries.
  • Maintain a well-rounded knowledge of products sold.
  • Review open orders and backorders on a daily basis.
  • Demonstrated focus on the customer with exceptional service.
  • Drives the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose.
  • Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

SKILLS:

  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to convey message in an organized, clear and effective manner.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and personal commitment to get the job done.
  • Strong organizational and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of industrial products is preferred.
  • Team-player and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS/ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • On site is preferred but not mandatory if outside the province of QC.
    Compensation starting at $40000 - $60000 depending on experience.
    The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate’s relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 2 years previous Inside Sales experience is required.
  • French bilingualism.
  • Secondary School preferred
