CNA Associate – Neurovascular, Medical Surgical Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This posting represents a .9 FTE, NIGHT shift opening (7pm-7:30am, varied days, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends. The Neurovascular Unit is a specialized unit that cares for patients who have had a neurovascular event, such as stroke. Patients on this unit may have received a hyperacute intervention such as endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) or thrombolysis. Stroke patients generally stay in the hospital for approximately five to seven days. During their stay, the interprofessional stroke team works collaboratively to provide patient and family-centered and evidence-based stroke care.
