About the Role: The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in delivering compassionate and high-quality care to patients within healthcare settings. Minimum Qualifications: * Completion of an accredited Certified Nurse Assistant training program. * Valid CNA certification/license as required by Texas. * Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care techniques. * Ability to pass background checks and health screenings including immunizations. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams. Preferred Qualifications: * Previous experience working as a CNA in a hospital, nursing home, or long-term care facility. * CPR and First Aid certification. * Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. * Additional training in specialized care areas such as geriatrics or rehabilitation. * Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations. Responsibilities: * Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. * Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. * Support patients with mobility needs, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation. * Provide nutritional support by assisting with feeding and ensuring patients receive proper hydration. * Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients by following infection control protocols. * Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient status, concerns, and changes in condition. * Assist with basic medical procedures under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses. * Document patient care activities accurately and timely in compliance with healthcare regulations.
