    Southern Utah Veterans Home in Ivins, Utah is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated CNA Coordinator/Scheduler Full Time opening $ 20-30.00/hour   CNA COORDINATOR/SCHEDULER JOB SUMMARY: The CNA Coordinator/Scheduler is responsible for managing the scheduling and coordination of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure adequate staffing levels and smooth operations at the Southern Utah Veterans Home. This role involves working closely with nursing staff, administration, and CNAs to maintain efficient workforce management and support quality care delivery to our veterans. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Create, maintain, and adjust CNA schedules to meet the needs of the facility and residents. * Coordinate shift coverage, including managing shift swaps, call-offs, and overtime requests. * Communicate effectively with CNAs, nursing supervisors, and management regarding scheduling changes and staffing needs. * Maintain accurate records of attendance, hours worked, and staffing levels. * Assist with onboarding and orientation of new CNAs as needed. * Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and labor laws related to staffing and scheduling. * Support CNA staff with any scheduling-related questions or concerns. * Collaborate with Human Resources and Payroll departments to ensure accurate timekeeping and payroll processing. * Participate in staff meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to staffing and scheduling. QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare administration or related field preferred. * Business oriented. * No CNA required * LPNs could be a fit as well * Previous experience in healthcare scheduling, preferably in a long-term care or veterans home setting. * Strong organizational and multitasking skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. * Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. * Knowledge of CNA roles and responsibilities is highly desirable. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
