In this role, you’ll provide personal care and medication support to hospice patients in a way that respects their dignity and enhances their quality of life. Requirements CNA/CMT Hospice House Meets the training requirements of the State of Maryland and holds licensure as a CNA At least 18 years of age Understands or willing to learn the hospice philosophy Comfortable working independently and providing specialized care to the terminally ill Satisfactory references from previous employers Provides a calm manner around patients and families Has empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and the impaired Possess and maintains current CPR certification Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene Good oral and written communication skills
