CNA - Float Pool - Providence Portland Medical Center, Portland Oregon. This posting represents full-time, day shift openings. Shifts are 3, 12 hour shifts per week, from 7am-7:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays. Come join the Float Pool Family at Providence Portland! Joining our team brings fantastic opportunities and challenges. We train to support varying units within the hospital such as Medical Surgical, Critical Care, and the ER. We provide weeks of orientation with an established Float Pool CNA, depending on your prior experience. Orientation includes training to work on the floor, serve as a constant observer, and provide support at the Nursing station. Lyra Caregiver Assistance program- Up to 25 counseling or coaching sessions per eligible member per year Under direct supervision this position is accountable to the bedside RN and charge nurse to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient, family and providers in the department in completion of the duties assigned to them for the shift and maintaining clear communication between the needs of the patient through the RN and Charge Nurse. Required qualifications: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred qualifications: Coursework/Training: Medical Terminology Course.
