Description Mountain Valley of Cascadia is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide high-quality care to our residents. Under the supervision of nursing staff, CNAs assist residents with daily living activities, ensure their comfort, and support their overall well-being. Responsibilities: Respond to nurse call systems to meet resident needs. Assist residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, hair care, and incontinence care. Help residents with eating, ambulation, and range of motion exercises. Take and record vital signs, fluid intake/output, and other health data as directed. Document care provided and follow restorative service procedures. Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings as needed. Support person-centered care based on resident preferences. Maintain punctuality and reliable attendance. Qualifications: Current CNA certification. Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies. Strong communication skills with residents, families, and staff. Compassion, patience, and professionalism. Commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality. Licenses/Certification Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment. Valid CPR certificate preferred. Experience Six months experience in a long term-care environment preferred. NOTE: A CNA who successfully completes an approved advanced skills training curriculum and/or has demonstrated experience in a needed clinical specialty area, e.g. ventilator, pulmonary, and tracheostomy (VPT), can be classified as a CNA II. NOTE: Candidates who are passionate about caregiving but not yet certified as a CNA are encouraged to apply—Mountain Valley will sponsor CNA training and cover certification costs for qualified applicants.
