Job Details Job Location: Dickinson, ND 58601 Position Type: Part Time Salary Range: $17.00 - $20.00 Hourly Job Shift: Day Job Category: CNA St. Luke’s Home is an 88-bed long-term, skilled nursing facility where residents receive 24-hour skilled nursing care; IV therapy; wound care and post-surgical care; respite care; nutritional therapy; and peritoneal dialysis. The geriatric psychiatric unit houses up to 20 residents. St. Luke’s Home exists to demonstrate the compassion of God by providing quality care that enhances the dignity and respect of each person we serve. Our core values include respect, compassion, accountability, excellence, and a positive attitude. The course consists of Monday through Friday, day shift hours. Applicants do not need an active CNA certification to apply. Candidates will be provided an on-the-job training program consisting of online and hands-on instruction. With these new skills, candidates will work with residents related to activities of daily living, personal assistance needs, meal observation, and much more. This is a fast-paced learning experience open to motivated and compassionate applicants at least 16 years old who are interested in a career in long-term care. Ideal candidates are those seeking a career in the healthcare field. After successful course completion, employees have the opportunity for a permanent place on the team with either part-time (less than 30 hours per week) or full-time (30 to 40 hours per week) positions, consisting of day (5:30 AM to 2:00 PM) and evening (1:30 PM to 10:00 PM) shifts. Part-time employees are eligible for limited benefits. Rotating weekends and holidays are required. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing quality nursing care to residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality. Responding to inquiries relating to work area and requests from residents, visitors, and other personnel within established policy. Brushing teeth, combing hair, dressing, toileting, shaving, transferring, taking vitals, weighing, reporting, documenting, transporting, and assisting supervision and teammates. Requirements include: Attendance at all scheduled training with no absenteeism or tardiness permitted. Authorization to work in the United States.
