High Point Residence Jerseyville  Jerseyville, IL  About the Role: FT Night Shift available; 11pm-7:30am and every other weekend availability needed.  We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at High Point Residence Jerseyville. As a CNA, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. You will work closely with our nursing staff to provide high-quality care and support to our residents. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for helping others. Minimum Qualifications: * Current CNA certification in the state of Illinois * High school diploma or equivalent * Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Basic computer skills Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working in a long-term care or assisted living facility * Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities Responsibilities: * Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming * Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature * Assist with medication administration under the direction of a licensed nurse * Provide emotional support and companionship to residents * Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents Skills: As a CNA at High Point Residence Jerseyville, you will use your strong communication skills to build relationships with residents and their families. You will also use your attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. In addition, you will use your compassion and empathy to provide emotional support to residents and their families during difficult times.
