CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE & REQUIREMENTS

• CNA License – Alaska
• Applicants may apply without the license but must have it in hand prior to the start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA
• 1+ Years of experience in Long-Term Care (REQUIRED)
• Housing: May be provided based on availability. If not, traveler must secure their own accommodations.
• Transportation: Vehicle provided by facility. Traveler must have a valid driver’s license and use the vehicle only within a 30-mile radius of the facility.

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, feeding
• Support safe transfers, mobility, and patient repositioning
• Take and record vital signs, including orthostatic blood pressure
• Perform point-of-care testing (glucose), monitor oxygen and pulse oximetry
• Implement infection control practices and use PPE appropriately
• Support skin integrity and assist in preventive care
• Perform perineal hygiene, mouth care, and linen changes
• Assist with bed shampoos and shower routines
• Document care and report any changes in condition
• Utilize equipment such as glucometers, oxygen tanks, thermometers
• Communicate clearly with the care team, patients, and families
